Abstract

The article examines the current state of the Bukhara deer (Сervus elaphus bactrianus) in the Southern Aral region. Bukhara deer (Cervus elaphus bactrianus) as an endangered, locally distributed deer subspecies is included in the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan in category 1 (EN). It is also included in the International Red Book and Appendix II of CITES.
